What We Can not See for Weight Loss

“Every time I see her, she is eating.” Lee, a soldier for fighting unwanted weight, tells me about another partner, June who we work with. According to her understanding, slim June is a miraculous person who has ability to eat endless food but gain no fat. “She is the exact type I am eagerly to be, however I doom to be the opposite kind.” Lee always complaints about her unfair case, especially the time when she compares herself with June. In fact, I am in the line of weight loss and, I used to lose my balance at the first stage when I acquainted June. To be frank, it is a huge satire to look at June biting snacks with great joy, at the same time you’re on a bland die with a heavy body. So, I can understand how Lee’s feeling totally. But once you get along with June for long time, you’ll find there is nothing miraculous in her body. Everything happens to her is normal, and the answer of this puzzle lies on what we can’t see about her. 

Primarily, we can’t see the speed of her eating. I didn’t realize how fast I finished my meal until I raised my head which was only toward my dish when we had dinner together one day. Because I was accustomed to squeeze every second for my job, I never allowed myself to enjoy my meal time. So, you can imagine how astonished the first time I saw June was chewing and swallowing her dinner slowly. Since that time I start to pay attention on her eating, and find impossible to effect her lazy speed no matter how situation is emergent . “I just like the enjoyment of every bite, and it can release me from busy work.” June says.

Secondly and the most importantly, no matter what she eats, she values how much to eat and when to eat. Easily speaking, she diets regularly. For example, she sets 12:00a.m-1:00 p.m as her lunch time range. She hardly brings forward or postpones this habit, not mention to skip or add any meal. What’s more, not only dinners are respected in her life, but also the snacks. “I need to have lots of snack time everyday, especially during my working days.” She does, and that’s why we always see her eating. But the truth is, both the time and the option for food of every snack are arranged regularly in her daily schedule. For instance, she will enjoy a cup of coffee coupled with some low-cal biscuits at afternoon, which makes her concentrate on job batter. It is the regular extra supplement that prevents eating too much in evenings which always drive people too eat much more than what they really need. 

Obviously, it is what we can’t see rather than what are in sight to make June lucky and special.
